RN Operations Coordinator – Emergency Medicine (Night Shift)

About the role

The RN Operations Coordinator provides supervision and direct patient care in the Emergency Medicine unit during night shifts. This role coordinates nursing interventions, delegates tasks, and ensures high‑quality care for individuals and patient cohorts.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organize, plan, supervise, and coordinate patient care within the unit.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate assigned nurses and technicians.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical supplies to support daily operations.
• Collaborate with quality, safety, and patient experience leadership to promote best practices.

Required profile

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• 1 year of RN experience (or 2 years as an LPN in acute care) and preferably 2 years of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work under high pressure, handle frequent interruptions, and remain objective.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with computer systems, software, and web‑based applications.
