About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5N Oncology Unit at Indian River Hospital on a PRN (as‑needed) basis. This position works flexible day shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays, providing direct care to oncology patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions, update care plans, and coordinate discharge needs.
Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and self‑care.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure in Florida.
At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and completion of an ONS Chemo/Bio course within two years of hire.

Required skills

Proficiency in chemotherapy/bioscience administration protocols.
Ability to perform full range of body motions, lift patients, and work under stressful, irregular hours.
