RN – Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (Night Shift)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 7th‑floor Med/Surg Telemetry Unit. This 20‑bed unit provides advanced telemetry care for adult to geriatric patients with a variety of medical‑surgical diagnoses during night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, updating plans of care as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Educate patients and families, considering cultural and special concerns.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate patient transitions.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.

Required skills

• RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
