RN – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

About the role

The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at Florida Weston Hospital provides care for patients who need more support than routine care but not the intensity of critical care. As a Registered Nurse you will join a collaborative team focused on patient‑centered care and positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans, document patient conditions, and coordinate discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post‑discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire.
