RN Infusion – Hem/Onc Clinic

About the role

This full‑time RN position supports the Hematology/Oncology infusion clinic at Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge. The nurse will lead patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold Ochsner’s commitment to healing, education, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality infusion care.
• Assess patient, family, and group learning needs and provide appropriate education.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources effectively.
• Serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
• Utilize data and clinical knowledge to evaluate outcomes and promote practice improvements.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome.
• Preferred certification in a clinical specialty area.
