RN – Imaging (Day Shift)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for Imaging at Avon Hospital. This regular PRN position works day shifts (8:00 am‑4:30 pm) covering both Avon and Lutheran locations, providing patient‑first care throughout diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic imaging procedures.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Conduct telephone triage, manage call rotations, and administer treatments and medications.
• Develop and coordinate care plans with patients, families, and the health‑care team, including discharge planning.
• Maintain standards of care, educate patients and families, and cover additional nursing roles as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
• One year of recent RN experience or RN with at least 2 years LPN experience in a similar procedural department.
• Willingness to work at both Avon and Lutheran hospitals and pick up shifts as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in nursing assessments and documentation.
• Ability to perform telephone triage and manage call rotations.
• Competence in nursing procedures, medication administration, and treatment delivery.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
