RN HOPS – Electrophysiology Lab

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Electrophysiology Laboratory. This role blends procedural/OR nursing with floor nursing in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment focused on cardiac rhythm disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures.
• Perform assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and manage telemetry monitoring.
• Coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification; willingness to obtain ACLS within six months.
• At least one year of recent RN experience (two years preferred).
• Ability to work days (6:45 am–8:15 pm) with no weekends, on‑call, or holiday requirements.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring.
