RN Float Pool – Night Shift at Lutheran Hospital

About the role

The Registered Nurse Float Pool position supports diverse patient populations across multiple units at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital. Working nights, you will deliver high‑quality care while gaining experience in a wide range of specialty areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and document patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge needs.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Ability to assess, monitor, and document patient status.
• Proficiency in medication administration and execution of physician orders.
• Basic Life Support certification (and Advanced Cardiac Life Support if working in critical care).
