About the role

Join a compassionate, inclusive team delivering exceptional emergency care on Jefferson Highway. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide high‑quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary staff, and uphold the standards of the Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team, respecting cultural and religious diversity.
• Apply evidence‑based practices and data to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Louisiana.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
