RN – Emergency Department – Night Shift – Full Time

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department night shift at the Marrero Emergency Room. This full‑time position requires leadership in delivering safe, compassionate care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, respecting cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including lifting and exposure to bodily fluids.

Required skills

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
