About the role

The Clinical Decision Unit at Indian River Hospital provides observation care for patients before discharge or readmission. This night‑shift RN position supports a collaborative team delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care in a state‑of‑the‑art facility on Florida’s Treasure Coast.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
Assess discharge needs and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
