RN Circulator

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse Circulator for its Lake Wales facility in Florida. This is a full-time, day-shift position. The circulator assesses patient and family needs, develops and implements a plan of care, evaluates outcomes and keeps accurate nursing documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develop and communicate a plan of care with the patient, family and significant others.
• Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions and procedures.
• Evaluate problems, care provided and patient responses to ensure quality of care.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care.
• Pursue professional growth, keeping current knowledge, certification and licensure per hospital policy.
• Serve as a role model for current and new staff and attend required safety training, including exposure control plans for bloodborne and airborne pathogens.
• Show respect for the dignity of patients, families, visitors and colleagues and work as part of a team.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Associate degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year of related experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS), Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Hip and Knee Replacement (HKR) preferred.

Pay range: $32.48 - $56.84. Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.
