About the role

The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Indian River Hospital serves a diverse patient population with cardiovascular conditions. As an RN you will provide direct nursing care before, during and after surgery, supporting patients, families and the care team.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans in the CVOR.
Monitor, document and communicate patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge needs, and assist with on‑call duties.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of recent RN experience in a cardiovascular operating room.

Required skills

State RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Cardiovascular operating room nursing experience.
