RN - Cardiology Stepdown

About the role

The Cardiology Stepdown unit is a 25‑bed telemetry floor providing fast‑paced care to patients with myocardial infarction, post‑cardiac interventions, chronic heart failure, dysrhythmias and pulmonary hypertension. As a Registered Nurse you will deliver direct patient care, coordinate treatment plans and support patients and families throughout their hospital stay.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and execute physician orders.
• Monitor, document and communicate patient conditions, updating care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse licensure.
