RN – Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

About the role

The RN will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Indian River Hospital. This full‑day position supports patient preparation, monitoring, and post‑procedure care while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
• Document and implement plans of care, and communicate patient status to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
• Set up and manage equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Minimum two years recent critical care nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Required skills

• Critical care nursing expertise.
• Conscious sedation administration.
• Hemodynamic monitoring.
