RN Ambulatory – Procedure

About the role

The RN Ambulatory – Procedure provides professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments, initiate CPR and emergency measures, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and operate specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education for patients and families.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of recent RN experience or equivalent clinical experience.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for moderate sedation or cardiac stress testing.
• Medication administration.
• Telephone triage.
• CPR and emergency response.
