About the role

The RN Ambulatory – Internal Medicine Triage provides professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting at South Pointe Hospital. The role involves assessing patients, performing telephone triage, and supporting physician clinics and surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities

Conduct nursing assessments, complete telephone triage, and develop care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures, and notify physicians or Licensed Independent Providers of abnormal findings.
Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited nursing school with current RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and at least one year of recent RN experience.
Preference for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Medication administration and treatment delivery.
Telephone triage and patient assessment.
