RN Ambulatory Infusion Nurse (PRN)

About the role

The RN Ambulatory Infusion position provides infusion therapy and headache treatments in an ambulatory setting at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This PRN role works a 6‑week/48‑hour schedule with no weekends or holidays required.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with IV placement and administer Ketamine infusion therapy.
• Continuously monitor patients during infusions, document side effects, and promptly escalate concerns.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to ensure high‑quality patient care.
• Maintain ACLS certification and apply advanced cardiovascular life support as needed.
• Float to other rooms within Mellon and Main Campus to support clinical operations.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification.
• At least one year of recent RN experience (or equivalent clinical experience for internal transfers).
• Ability to obtain cancer‑specific certification if working in oncology areas.

Required skills

• IV placement and infusion therapy techniques.
• Ketamine infusion administration.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
