RN Ambulatory – Hematology/Oncology Infusion

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Hematology/Oncology Ambulatory team at The Richard E. Jacobs Health Center. You will provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion suite, supporting patients and families throughout their treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, including assessments, telephone triage, and care plan development.
• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion medications, monitor patient response, and document treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures, notifying the physician or Licensed Independent Provider of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and operate patient‑care equipment.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of recent clinical experience as an RN, or relevant experience if transferring within Cleveland Clinic.
• Cancer‑specific certification or ongoing qualifying education is preferred.
• BSN degree is preferred.
