Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA, CNS) Hematology Oncology II

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute seeks a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA, or CNS) to deliver inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care across West Side Regional sites, including the infusion suite.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for hematology/oncology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Cover the infusion suite, manage chemotherapy administration and infusion reactions.
• Perform bone marrow biopsies, emergency department visits, and follow‑up appointments.
• Take thorough histories, conduct physical exams, order and interpret labs and imaging, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within scope of licensure and clinic policies.
• Educate patients on disease, treatment options, and potential side effects.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and quality monitoring.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited APRN program (MSN) or an A.R.C.‑approved Physician Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist in the applicable state.
• National certification for the respective role and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as required by the work setting.
