About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the Plastic Surgery – Ambulatory Operations team at The Richard E. Jacobs Health Center in Avon, Ohio. The role involves providing patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician in a busy outpatient surgery and dermatology setting.

Key responsibilities

Provide patient care activities, collect and document objective and subjective data, and complete nursing assessments.
Implement nursing care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
Perform routine laboratory tests and observe patients for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and family members about procedures and post‑care instructions.

Required profile

Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
One year of patient care experience preferred.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency in patient assessment and documentation.
