About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System’s Richard E. Jacobs Health Center in Avon, Ohio, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in its Urgent Care unit. The role works variable shifts from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, including weekends and possible holidays.

Key responsibilities

Deliver patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.
Collect and document objective and subjective patient data.
Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and ensure accurate documentation.
Educate patients and families about care plans.

Required profile

Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
Current Ohio LPN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
One year of patient care experience preferred.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Medication administration.
