RN Acute Care Telemetry Unit – Weekender Flex

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Telemetry Unit on a Weekender Flex schedule. This position provides 36 hours of work per week with full‑time status, benefits, and compensation for 44 hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in the observation unit.
• Perform patient assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal results.
• Conduct telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer treatments, medications, and perform nursing procedures.
• Develop and coordinate care plans with patients, families, and the health‑care team.
• Facilitate discharge planning and identify post‑acute needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Cover additional nursing roles within the department as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience (military RN considered).

Required skills
