About the role

Join Barnhart Crane & Rigging’s nationwide team to support heavy‑lift projects across multiple locations. This full‑time, onsite position offers hands‑on experience in rigging, signaling, and load control while providing a clear path for career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rigging, signaling, and load control for heavy lifts.
• Assist with crane assembly, gantry systems, and hydraulic equipment.
• Support projects and heavy‑haul operations, including equipment transport on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, maintain, and prepare rigging gear for safe use.
• Work both in the field and on dynamic project sites.

Required profile

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors, lift 50 lb, and perform physical work.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, travel, and overtime.
• Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Required skills

• CDL Class A (or ability to obtain).
• Rigger certification or TWIC card.
