RF Specialist, Mid

About the role

Booz Allen is looking for an RF Specialist to examine radar emissions, communication data and other electronic data to identify and assess foreign electronic capabilities. The role uses advanced data processing tools to collect, interpret and analyse data, producing reports and briefings for key stakeholders and working with military personnel and government agencies on joint operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse electronic RF data and prepare detailed reports and briefings with findings and recommendations.
• Work with operations managers, operators and analysts on new analytic methods, technologies and strategies.
• Collaborate with national and tactical operations elements to advance target development and support strategic and operational requirements.
• Stay up to date with electronic systems and RF data processing technology, and help develop new analytical tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in ground station operations.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in digital RF operations and processing, or 7+ years in digital RF operations and processing in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of RF data requirements and oversight policies.
• Ability to support 24/7 operations and obtain timely medical and psychological clearance.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph; applicants are subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for classified information.

Nice to have

• Experience with technical work in a ground station operations area.
• Experience using tasking, operations, exploitation, analysis and mapping tools.
• Ability to evaluate system inaccuracies and identify improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Completion of 2810, 3810, 450 or 451 Analysis Course.
