Counter-UAS Technician

About the role

CACI is seeking a Technician to support mission-critical Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) work, helping detect, track and mitigate emerging aerial threats. The role covers the full lifecycle of government-furnished equipment, from installation and integration to sustainment and troubleshooting, across CONUS and limited OCONUS locations, working with cross-functional teams. It is full time, requires a minimum Secret clearance and involves up to 75% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Support installation, operations and maintenance (O&M) activities across the Counter-RCMA mission
• Support daily system operations, testing and performance validation to ensure mission readiness
• Travel to customer sites for preventative maintenance, hands-on troubleshooting and corrective actions

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of related experience
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and with team members
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and climb to heights up to 200 ft (climb certified or able to become so)
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Preferred: a Secret clearance, with possible requirement to obtain Secret/Top Secret later

Required skills

• Operating RF equipment, electronic troubleshooting equipment, spectrum analyzers and signal generators
• Radar systems experience (installation, operation, troubleshooting or maintenance of tactical/surveillance radar, preferably RPS systems)
• Basic IP network topologies and network troubleshooting
• Desired: FAA Part 107 certification, Linux, asset tracking, radar and RF signals background, JIRA/Confluence
