Revenue Cycle Director for Multi‑Practice DSO

About the role

The Dental Billing Manager will lead the full revenue cycle for a network of pediatric dental offices, ensuring accurate claims submission, timely reimbursements, and efficient accounts receivable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing operations including claims submission, eligibility verification, and payment posting.
• Manage aging reports, lead denial and appeal management, and recover outstanding balances.
• Supervise, train, and develop a team of billing coordinators, providing performance coaching.
• Standardize billing workflows and documentation across locations for consistency and compliance.
• Monitor revenue‑cycle metrics (days in AR, denial rates, collection rates) and report trends.
• Stay current on dental insurance plans, Medicaid/Denti‑Cal, CDT coding updates, and payer policy changes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of dental billing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in a multi‑location or DSO/MSO dental environment.
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Denti‑Cal, dental insurance processes, CDT codes, and claims/appeals workflows.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel for reporting and analytics.
• Experience using Dentrix Ascend practice management software.
