Retail Wine Sales Account Manager - Houston

About the role

Reyes Beverage Group is hiring a Retail Wine Sales Account Manager in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building and maintaining retail distribution and running effective sales plans and promotions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals within assigned timeframes, meeting monthly business objectives while acquiring new business and keeping established distribution
• Carry out sales plans and promotions at retail on time, securing trade support through pricing and product promotions, product displays, point-of-sale materials and promotional events
• Maintain compliance with quality control and product code date standards
• Plan and run regular sales visits to accounts
• Keep inventory levels accurate to avoid out-of-stock and out-of-code issues
• Monitor product placement and rotation in selling and storage areas to keep products fresh and maximise shelf impact
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 1 to 3 years of related experience, or high school diploma with 4 to 5 plus years of specific experience
• At least 21 years of age or meets the minimum state legal age requirement
• Reliable automobile transportation, acceptable driving record, valid driver's licence and auto insurance at least to the minimum required by the company and state law
• Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs regularly and up to 175 lbs when handling keg product
