Retail Shop Manager on Duty - La Costa

About the role

Equinox is looking for energetic, creative and enthusiastic Retail Shop Managers on Duty to join its team at its state-of-the-art shops in La Costa. The MOD directs and motivates the sales team in one shop, ensuring the highest level of customer service, a complete customer experience and operational excellence. They take direction from the Regional, District or Area Shop Manager and the Assistant Manager on business strategy and action plans, ensuring maximum productivity and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and service: achieve assigned monthly sales goals, coach Style Advisors on selling tactics and tools, and maintain knowledge of club and shop services, programs and products
• Operational excellence: uphold loss prevention and inventory management policies, ensure timely completion of operational tasks, and assist managers with hiring, training, scheduling and shift coverage
• Product and presentation: keep the shop and staff aligned with brand standards, merchandising and dress code, and enforce housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, cash wraps and stockrooms
• Professional dimension: build relationships with colleagues, supervisors and clients, communicate clearly at all levels, and comply with company policies and initiatives

Required profile

• Proven leadership ability and the ability to take direction
• Experience in a customer service business, preferably in retail
• Honesty, integrity, hard work and diligence
• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the retail business
• Legal right to work in the United States
