Retail Sales Consultant – Part Time

About the role

Boll & Branch is seeking a Part‑Time Retail Sales Consultant to join its Skokie, IL store. The role focuses on driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining store standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed individual sales goals while fostering repeat business.
• Provide in‑store, in‑home, and virtual design consultations.
• Maintain visual presentation, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform daily paperwork, cash reconciliation, and operational tasks.
• Protect store assets, follow loss‑prevention procedures, and adhere to SOPs.
• Conduct in‑home installations and recommend additional products.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of retail sales experience or comparable transferable experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and climb a ladder/step stool.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of G‑Suite (Google Drive/Docs).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using standard retail equipment such as POS systems, phones, and alarm systems.
