Retail Sales Associate - Furniture

About the role

1915 South, owner of 41 Ashley furniture stores and 4 distribution centers across the southeast, is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Albany. The associate delivers an exceptional guest shopping experience by building relationships, understanding guest needs and presenting solutions that create value, while meeting minimum performance standards through key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests throughout their shopping journey
• Present products and solutions that create value for guests
• Meet or exceed KPIs covering sales, finance, bedding, protection and delivery
• Follow established selling processes and best practices
• Take part in coaching, training and development
• Follow up with customers promptly to support the sales process
• Review orders for accuracy before submission
• Take payments and help guests with financing or payment options
• Help resolve guest questions or concerns with leadership and support teams
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization in assigned areas

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail sales experience, specifically in furniture, preferred
• Able to stand or walk for long periods and lift occasionally
• Schedule includes weekdays, weekends and holidays as required
