About the role

This part‑time, 1099 independent contractor position supports retail merchandising for a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store in Knightdale, NC. The role is ideal for someone living nearby who can perform weekly visits.

Key responsibilities

  • Visit the store once per week to perform bi‑weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting, restocking, and updating signage.
  • On additional visits, check inventory levels, restock as needed, and verify thermostat settings.
  • Report service completion the same day via smartphone, including required photos.

Required profile

  • Resides within a 10‑15 mile radius of the store.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone to submit reports and photos.
  • Seeking supplemental income rather than a full‑time position.

  • Compensation of $15‑$18 per visit (paid for a full hour regardless of actual time).
