Retail Merchandising Specialist (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Retail Merchandising Specialist works as a dedicated BDS representative, handling break‑fix, installation, and ad‑hoc maintenance of in‑store displays while executing general merchandising tactics.

Key responsibilities

• Install, build, and maintain displays, end caps, and fixtures, including security, cabling, wiring, monitors, media players, and audio connectivity.
• Conduct break‑fix repairs, reset planograms, and perform POP, pricing, and fact‑tag updates.
• Provide in‑market training for other representatives and lead multi‑rep projects that may require travel up to 120 miles.
• Complete store service within 48‑72 hours, report visit status, and handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and data entry.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience building displays, fixturing, and monitor cabling/connectivity.
• Ability to read schematics, use a basic toolkit, and troubleshoot electronic display issues.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Willingness to work 40 + hours per week, including occasional weekends and travel.

Required skills

• Display installation and fixturing.

• Electronic troubleshooting (light fixtures, buttons, software reboots, etc.).
• Schematics reading.
• Tool usage (screwdrivers, drill, pliers, wire cutters, etc.).
