Retail Merchandiser – Flexible Independent Contractor

About the role

Join SFS, Inc. as an independent Retail Merchandiser and enjoy the freedom to set your own schedule. You will work on‑site at a variety of client locations, performing merchandising tasks that keep retail shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product resets, cut‑ins, returns, and point‑of‑purchase (POP) placements.
• Follow plan‑ograms to ensure correct product placement and presentation.
• Perform regular visits on a weekly, bi‑weekly, or monthly basis according to client needs.
• Report work completions on the same day using a mobile device.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lb repeatedly and remain on feet for extended periods.

Required profile

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Availability during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to read and interpret plan‑ograms.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites.
• Internet access with an active email address.
• Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) for wireless reporting.
