Restaurant Host/Hostess – Full‑Time

About the role

Landmark Hospitality is seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join the team at The Logan Inn. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take and manage reservations, organizing them on the seating chart.
• Greet guests, seat them, provide menus, and keep the hostess station tidy.
• Maintain an even distribution of guests across server sections and update the chart as needed.
• Handle waitlists, take drink orders, and direct guests to the bar when appropriate.
• Assist with table rearrangements for large parties and support opening/closing duties.
• Report issues to the manager, attend staff meetings, and address customer concerns.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Professional yet friendly demeanor, patience with frustrated guests.
• Ability to read and interpret the restaurant’s seating chart.
• Team player with clear communication skills.
