Restaurant General Manager – Lead a Dynamic Team

About the role

As the Restaurant General Manager you will lead a dynamic team at a Taco Bell location in Johnston, RI, driving exceptional customer experiences and setting a gold‑standard for performance.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and train Team Members, Shift Leads and Assistant Managers.
• Develop and execute comprehensive training plans and mentorship programs.
• Recognize and reward outstanding performance while fostering equity, inclusion and belonging.
• Resolve conflicts promptly and maintain a positive work environment.
• Engage directly with customers to address issues swiftly.
• Schedule staff strategically, coach on CHAMPS standards and lead product rollout meetings.
• Analyze financial performance, manage budgets and devise profitability strategies.
• Monitor competitors and aim to exceed their standards, including digital presence and loyalty programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant or retail management experience with a strong people‑management track record.
• Proven ability to improve performance using P&L analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Solid understanding of restaurant maintenance programs and health‑safety standards.

• Adaptable to change and experienced in change‑management support.

Required skills
