Restaurant General Manager

About the role

Hash Kitchen is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead a high‑volume breakfast and lunch concept in Draper, UT. You will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a great guest experience while enjoying a balanced personal schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Build, hire, train, and develop a team of 40‑55 employees, providing coaching and career paths.
• Own the restaurant P&L, managing sales, labor, cost of goods, and other controllables.
• Deliver consistent food quality, ticket times, and hospitality standards on every service.
• Maintain health, safety, sanitation, and security standards; manage ordering, invoices, inventory rotation, and scheduling.
• Report weekly to the Area Manager and collaborate on operational improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing a high‑volume, full‑service restaurant as a GM or AGM ready for a GM seat.
• Proven P&L ownership and budget achievement.
• People‑first leadership style with a focus on development and retention.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication, both verbal and written.
• Age 21+ (full bar service), ServSafe and Food Manager certifications or willingness to obtain (company pays).
• Comfortable using basic computer and scheduling tools.

• Base salary $75,000–$90,000 per year, plus bonus potential up to $13,000.
