Front Desk Agent – Full-Time, Year-Round

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, dependable Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Hampton Inn in Ellsworth, Maine. This full‑time, year‑round position is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and handle check‑ins, check‑outs, and room assignments efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide local recommendations.
• Process payments, maintain accurate records, and uphold hotel policies and safety standards.
• Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to resolve guest issues promptly.
• Monitor lobby and public areas for cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn and use hotel software systems.
