Restaurant Assistant Manager

About the role

Pilot Flying J, part of Pilot Company, is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run its high-volume quick-service restaurants in travel centers. Assistant Managers assist the Restaurant General Manager and help manage the restaurant operation within a travel center. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager
• Assist the GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members
• Direct and assign work to Team Members
• Create a positive work environment for team members
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation
• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness and food safety

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• At least one year of food service management experience
• Excellent team leadership and customer service skills
• Integrity and accountability at the managerial level
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
