Residential Assistant Property Manager & Leasing

Farbman Group, a real estate company specializing in residential and commercial properties, is looking for an Assistant Residential Property Manager and Leasing professional to support the management and leasing of its residential properties in Birmingham, Alabama. The role suits someone organized, detail-oriented and eager to grow in property management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations.
• Support leasing activities, including property tours, applications, lease signings and renewals.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with vendors and staff.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and resident files.
• Assist with marketing and resident engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and property regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in residential property management, leasing or real estate.
• Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and support a team.
• Knowledge of residential leasing laws is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software is helpful but not required.
