Commercial Portfolio Property Manager

About the role

Farbman Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of its commercial property portfolio in Indianapolis. The manager keeps properties to high standards, drives tenant satisfaction and maximizes financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, tenant relations and financial management.
• Develop and implement property budgets, monitor expenses and prepare financial reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors so repairs are completed promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for tenants and manage lease agreements, renewals and compliance with lease terms.
• Assist in marketing vacancies and attracting new tenants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial property management.
• Valid Indiana Real Estate License.
• Strong knowledge of property management principles, lease administration and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to multitask, prioritize and work independently.

Required skills

• Property management software such as Yardi is a plus.
