Research Reporting and Audit Coordinator

About the role

The Sponsored Research Services (SRS) team at Texas A&M University seeks a Research Reporting and Audit Coordinator to manage data collection, analysis, and reporting across the department. You will also support audit coordination, ensuring documentation and responses are prepared for internal and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and interpret data from multiple sources for regular reports.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and present historical and comparative trends to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with the senior analyst to act as a point of contact for auditors.
• Schedule audit work, compile required documentation, and assist in responding to audit observations.
• Support project planning and execution with analytical insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
• Strong multitasking ability and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
