Research Consultant

About the role

JMJ Phillip Executive Search is looking for a proactive Research Consultant to join its Research Department. You will support client engagements by conducting market research, talent mapping, and providing insights that shape hiring strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for a wide range of industries and positions.
• Collaborate with recruiting and account‑management teams to build candidate pools that meet defined criteria.
• Use Boolean search strings across internal and external databases to identify prospective talent.
• Lead research projects such as salary studies, competitor analysis, and location‑based information.
• Create and manage external job postings and discrete research assignments.
• Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills and abilities and match them to open roles.
• Provide sourcing reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote the firm’s reputation as an attractive employer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong internal and external customer service orientation.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking and communication abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a can‑do attitude and active listening skills.
