Renewal Underwriter

About the role

The Renewal Underwriter will manage a profitable renewal portfolio of cyber liability, technology E&O, media liability, and other E&O coverages. This role focuses on driving premium growth while maintaining target loss ratios.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and underwrite a renewal portfolio across multiple cyber‑related lines.
• Evaluate, select, and price policies to meet premium and profitability goals.
• Monitor quote, bind, and claims ratios and take corrective actions.
• Develop relationships with brokers, agents, and partners.
• Participate in internal underwriting audits for compliance.
• Collaborate with product, claims, and technology teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2‑5+ years of renewal underwriting experience in cyber, media, or E&O.
• Strong commercial and financial knowledge.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
