Remote Web Developer

About the role

Phidev is seeking a remote Web Developer to join an experienced U.S.-based team. You will work from home on a variety of digital projects, ranging from simple websites to complex cloud applications and marketing automation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive websites, custom cloud applications, digital advertising assets, and smartphone apps.
• Integrate third‑party systems and automate marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Participate in agile development cycles and contribute to code reviews and documentation.

Required profile

• Advanced written English proficiency.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience with web frameworks and source‑control systems such as Git.
• Development of WordPress themes and plugins.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, SCSS, responsive design principles, and standard UX/UI practices.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of native mobile app development for Android and iOS (a plus).
• Understanding of programmable marketing campaign tools (a plus).
