Remote Supervising Physician for Urgent Care Telehealth

About the role

SteadyMD is seeking experienced physicians (MD/DO) to lead its urgent‑care telehealth program remotely. The role involves supervising a team of Nurse Practitioners, conducting video and phone patient evaluations, and ensuring high‑quality urgent‑care delivery across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise at least five SteadyMD Nurse Practitioners, including quarterly chart reviews and virtual meetings.
• Perform scheduled and on‑demand synchronous video or phone consultations for urgent‑care conditions such as minor injuries, respiratory infections, skin issues, gastrointestinal problems, and allergies.
• Provide asynchronous communication with patients as needed.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing and telehealth regulations.

Required profile

• Active medical license (MD or DO) in good standing in California and at least three of the following states: PA, AL, GA, IN, MO, MS, SC, or TN (total of at least five state licenses).
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week.
• Experience in urgent‑care or telehealth settings.

• Compensation approximately $120 per hour (1099 contractor).
• Additional $150 per month for each Nurse Practitioner supervised (estimated 1 hour/month per NP).
• 15 % differential pay for night and weekend work.
• Fully remote, flexible scheduling.
