Remote Project Manager (IT / Software Delivery)

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies whose products help people connect online across cultures and regions. It is looking for a Project Manager (IT / Software Delivery) to coordinate and run software projects day to day, working closely with the Lead Project Manager and teams across Product, Engineering, QA and Business. The position is full-time and remote.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate projects through the full delivery lifecycle, from planning and execution to release and closure
• Keep project plans, timelines, milestones and delivery trackers accurate and up to date in Jira
• Coordinate day-to-day work across Product, Engineering, QA, Business and other stakeholders
• Track deliverables and action items, follow up with owners and flag delays and blockers early
• Facilitate project meetings: prepare agendas and materials, record decisions and action items, and follow up on them
• Prepare project status updates, dashboards and management reports
• Identify and track risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, maintain the RAID log and escalate delivery risks
• Track scope changes and document their impact on timelines, resources and commitments
• Maintain project documentation, decision logs and action trackers
• Monitor performance against milestones and key delivery metrics (delivery predictability, time to market)
• Help maintain project governance and agreed delivery processes

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in IT project management or delivery on software, mobile or web projects
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Business)
• Experience managing risks and dependencies, delivery reporting and KPI tracking
• Good understanding of the SDLC, QA, UAT and production deployment processes
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, strong organization and attention to detail
