Remote Mendix Developer - JTMS Program

About the role

CACI is seeking a Mendix Developer to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program. The role uses the Mendix low-code platform to design, develop and deploy enterprise applications for transportation and logistics operations, working with business stakeholders, system architects and other developers. It is a full-time, regular position with up to 10% local travel, open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy applications with Mendix Studio Pro, including domain models, microflows, nanoflows and page layouts
• Build RESTful and SOAP web services and integrate applications with external systems, databases and APIs
• Create responsive, accessible user interfaces and custom widgets using JavaScript, Java or React when needed
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot defects and optimize application performance and scalability
• Gather requirements with business analysts, write technical documentation and take part in Agile ceremonies
• Support deployments across development, test and production, implement security best practices and mentor junior team members

Required profile

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years with Mendix
• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills

• Desired: Mendix Rapid Developer or Advanced Developer certification, JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3, React, CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Mendix Cloud), microservices, SAP S/4 HANA, JIRA/Confluence
