About the role

The Remote IT Technician will support and maintain client IT environments, providing day‑to‑day technical assistance and ensuring stable, secure operations.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
Provide technical support via ticketing systems and document incidents.
Perform system updates, security configurations, and routine maintenance.
Collaborate with IT team members and document fixes and procedures.
Train users on best practices, new tools, and IT policies.

Required profile

Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills for hardware, software, and network problems.
Foundational IT knowledge including operating systems, basic networking, and common business applications.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Experience with ticketing systems and incident documentation (preferred).
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, backups, and basic system administration (advantage).
Relevant certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
