Remote Controller – Financial Reporting & Operations

About the role

Our client, a respected national consulting partner, is seeking a remote Controller to lead financial reporting and operational excellence for client engagements. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and delivers clear, accurate financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Travel frequently to client sites to support projects and build strong relationships.
• Oversee accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in line with professional standards.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes and support regulatory or tax reporting needs.
• Review key accounting transactions and provide guidance on technical accounting matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, promoting accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
• Collaborate with client leaders and project teams to streamline processes and implement improvements.

Required profile

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and modern accounting operations.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams on client‑focused solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
